I always wanted to be one of those people that had "An Animal". My mom is elephants, grandma is flamingos, and I could never pin point one for myself. Until I fell in love with squirrels. So now, I collect squirrels. This is my catalog of my squirrel collection, though not complete at the moment, and assumed to be ever growing.

Acquired: Various • Materials: Crochet and various
My babies 🤎 The crocheted ones were done for me by a local artist for my birthday from my husband. The others are Douglas squirrels from the mennenite store we frequent (they have the BEST douglas plush selection by FAR.) Oh and the middle back one is a Wilcor plush.
Acquired: Various stores/great grandparents' house • Materials: various/cast iron
All my bic lighters with squirrel themes. And a cast iron squirrel I found on the floor of my great grandparents' house when we were cleaning it after my great grandfather passed. I like to think of it as a little hello from the two of them to me. It went on top of something because there is a threaded hole at the bottom. My guess is something for her fireplace. Also you can kind of see the two Animal Crossing squirrel prints I have as well!
Acquired: The local dump • Materials: lithograph
My husband brought this home for me from the dump. Absolutely a top piece for me, he is the coolest thing ever. But his texture makes my skin crawl so I can just look at it. Super cool though. The art print above it was on a package that my husband got from the heirloom seed company. I tried reaching out to get a fresh print or a way to the artist but never got a response. I am obsessed with it though and he finally relinquished it. It was hard to get a photo of them because they are above the cat box in the cat box corner, barricaded by a bookshelf.
Acquired: Walmart • Materials: Plastic
I had never heard of this youtuber before, but I saw her blindboxes at walmart and saw there was a squirrel. I chose a single box, and I got exactly what I wanted and have never been happier with a blind box. It's a really well made and heavy little sucker. He's honestly one of my favorites in the collection.
Acquired: Various • Materials: Various
This is an older photo but shows my purple lego squirrel built, a small lego squirrel, a squirrel my mom crocheted me, and a paperweight/decor piece of a squirrel and a mouse. And another shot of the cast iron squirrel.
Acquired: Gift from mama • Materials: cotton
The cutest shirt ever.
Acquired: Gift from Mama • Materials: Silver & Gold
My favorite piece ever that I LOST at my MOM'S HOUSE. At least I assume so because it isn't here, and that's where I last had it. Will probably end up buying a replacement because it is literally my favorite thing.
Acquired: Aldi ?? • Materials: Glass
I can'remember where she came from. I THINK it was an Aldi finds item. Super cute but thin glass.
Acquired: Marshalls • Materials: Fake wood I think?
Damn it, they got me. There were so many squirrels that day it was hard to choose, but these guys had to come home with me.
Acquired: My Mama!! • Materials: Various
My mom went all out on the coolest birthday she has ever done for me. Absolutely blew it out of the water and I love her so much for this. Yes, I got to take all the banners and the extra roll of wrapping paper home! I love it and I love her and I love squirrels.
