Garth - Garth - Named after Garth from Wayne's World (aka Goose, Goog, Gus, Garthalomew, Garthamus, Bahgo, Chug, Chuggy, Goo Goo, Google, Gunk, Gungo, Gagogo, Go Go....the list goes on. Mostly we just make noises at this point.) The Mysterious, Miracle cat. He should have been dead years before. Kidneys were shutting down, and he was sent home to die in November 2024. However, he is Orange, and therefore, he made it another 10 months. We did have to give him fluids every 2 days, but he was a brave good boy. Born sometime in the early fall of 2008, he was a gift from an ex boyfriend. I got Garth when I was 19. Literally still a teenager.
This was written when he was still alive and sick: 100% the definition of an Orange Cat. Used to weigh 26lbs and has lost half his weight after going on a strict diet. But he is a generally enormous cat. Though in his age and after illness, he weighs about 10lbs on average now. He is obsessed with his toys. When he was younger he had one stuffed mouse named Mousey Baby he treated like his best buddy. He also has a favorite small fluff mouse named Pinky. His favorite color is pink- he truly gravitates towards it. I think it must look cool and bright to him. He absolutely loves Christmas and opening his presents (and will get jealous if you are opening presents on your birthday and he gets nothing.). You would have know idea he is an older senior, he still has the craziest zoomies, a gorgeous coat and eyes, and talks nonstop. Used to shit under my pillows as a kitten. Can sit on command. Will eat literally anything (especially if it makes him make a sour/yuck face while he eats it). He will befriend literally anyone and anything. He could care less about other animals, and knows that people=food and pets. But he does have an attitude, so petting him is like Russian Roulette at times. He also drools, and has a freakish amount of saliva when he licks you. He has hyperthyroidism and he makes pee crystals. His kidneys need routine flushing. So he's not cheap. But he's orange (and oh so handsome), and that's what I always wanted.

Storm - Storm - Named after Storm of X-men (aka Pidgeon, Tuna Fish, Tuna, Pocketbook, Pocket, Polly Pocket, Picky, Tooty, Bean, Tootsie, Tuts, Turtle Dove, Popcorn, Peanut, Poptart, Popcicle, (those 4 often said as one long name) Peepee, Peep, Beebee/Baby, Princess) Born sometime in the Fall of 2013. She is my forever kitten. Found her under a building at work. She screamed nonstop then, and continues to scream. She doesn't meow. She screeches. I do honestly think she fried her vocal cords as a baby because all she did until we caught her, was scream. She is the princess of the house, very shy around people and has never met another animal up close besides Garth, but would probably die on the spot of fear if she did. She doesn't totally understand how to play, unless you are violently flinging a feather on a string. She craves danger. Has used all 9 lives and is probably in debt to the devil tbh. She loves to be held like a baby, or to be paraded around the house by her daddy (and only daddy. mommy does not do it right apparantly.). You can do literally anything to this cat and she does not care. She has never bit or scratched me in anger, just when we're playing Blanket Monster and she will not actually bite my skin if she gets me by accident. She's perfect. She went in her litter box the day I brought her home and hadnt even shown her what it was yet. She's a genius. That happens to be her only talent. Again, all 9 lives are gone. She is not bright, and certainly has a death wish. But she's pretty.
