WHY A WEBSITE?

You have literally read this story on every other neocities website. I miss what we had. Like a lot of kids and teens back then, the internet became my life. I remember a girl in 5th grade, looking at me with her arms crossed, laughed with her two guy friends beside her condescendingly and said in a snarky tone, "you use the internet?". It was not cool back then...At all. Now almost no one can go anywhere without a phone in their hand. While I do love social media for what it is, I miss the old internet. I would spend hours and hours looking for images, adoptables, and Petz downloads. I was in forums, and had my own webpages, my own real space to create. I can edit a layout that's premade though! Making a piece of the internet my own has always been my greatest hobby.

The Red Glasses

What is with the red glasses? One of the most common questions I get at work. Most people assume I am just wearing lightly tinted sunglasses because I think I'm super cool. But that's only part of the reason. My glasses are from a comapany called Theraspecs and are for my Irlen Syndrome. Irlen syndrome is commonly referred to as visual dyslexia, however it's totally different from your average dyslexia, which is a brain processing issue with language/speech. Irlen syndrome is a "perceptual processing disorder where the brain struggles to properly process visual information and specific wavelengths of light, rather than an issue with the physical structure of the eye", but I also have dyslexia. Irlen isn't recognized everywhere but it's very real to me. Without a colored filter, reading text is extremely difficult and painful. I didn't realize until I was in college that the words on the paper actually do NOT move for other people, something I thought was part of the reason everyone thought reading was fun. Moving words without any mechanics. Except, no one else saw words the way I did. Until college when one of the people that worked there had me read with these colored sheets over top of the paper, and everything changed. Unfortunately, Irlen lenses are incredibly expensive, and of course only made by the people who can "actually" diagnose the syndrome. However, I found theraspecs, which just so happen to be around the same color my Irlen lens would be- A rose tint. Theraspecs are extra special because they are originally made for people who suffer from severe migraines or other light sensitivities. A lot of the issue with Irlen syndrome is everything is too bright for me. I usually wear them all day, unless I'm hanging out at home where our lights aren't so bright. They have absolutely changed my life, and have been wearing them for years now. They're a little expensive, but they have a fantastic warranty, great customer service, and glasses that literally make my eyes feel like they're finally able to just rest. Highly reccomend for anyone that gets migraines, especially aura/light related ones, light sensitivity, etc.

social media

Youtube — I go between deleting everything and wanting to return. So, whatever.

Instagram — I don't use other social media except Facebook for my family.

MY BOOKS

Right now I have one published poetry book called Gin & Tea. You can order it on Amazon here.

Gin & Tea is the product of 20 years of work and healing to finally release. It is autobiographical, exploring themes of domestic abuse, sexual abuse, rape, etc. Reader discression is advised.

Currently I am working on getting together more old poems as well as writing new ones for my second poetry book, It's Just Nervosa, about my 20 some odd year battle with bulimia and EDNOS. Hoping to have the manuscript ready sometime next spring. But as of right now, I am only in the gathering stage.

I am also working on a silly book to break up all the anger and sadness filled with my stupid art, comics, and poems. I'm pretty excited about this one, but it will probably take me another year at least to get a manuscript even begun.

MORE ABOUT ME

Just your average millenial who grew up chronically online since the late 90s. I love to do art, write, work on my website, and cozy games of all kinds. I am always listening to a podcast or youtube video of some sort. I pretty much only watch youtube these days. I'm also usually either playing a mobile game or rebuilding an island in Animal Crossing. I tend to pick a single hyper focus at a time.
I am obsessed with squirrels, if you couldn't tell yet. To be honest I am obsessed with all animals. And bugs...spiders...Basically anything that has a potential for me to pet, hold, or otherwise admire it. Particularly partial to cats, cows, DUCKS, goats, chickens, deer, and dogs. I will stop and inspect every bug I see, the bigger it is, the more likely I am to pick it up.
I have been married for 10 years and with my husband 16 years as of October 30th 2026. Yikes. We are officially old, I guess. Nothing has ever kept my attention for 16 straight years. Modern family is my comfort show and I watch it pretty much every single day.
I work as a parts manager/clothing manager/all around head cashier/idk what I am since Winter 2021. Basically I run the front half of a snowmobile store. I did not ever imagine myself working at a sled shop, seeing that I have never even sat on a sled (still haven't), but I absolutely love my job with all my heart. What started as seasonal is now a full time job, where the summer I basically get paid to do nothing 5 days a week. I tend to focus on freecash.com games until winter when my days are filled with hundreds, sometimes thousands, of snowmobilers, 6 days a week.

I have also been an on and off youtuber for like...ever. I became initially recognized as a vape girl, SugarVapor. Read the NBC news interview here (and I want it on record, they contacted ME first and I gave them an e-mail interview). I eventually switched to junk journaling and planner stuff when a video of mine kind of popped off. I sit around 17k these days. I haven't really "been a youtuber" for a few years now, but its definitely something that I want to return to.

MY BABIES

Garth('08-'25) and Storm('13-).

My sweet, sweet boy passed away on September 15th, 2025 after a short but hard fought battle with cancer. He was buried with his most favorite toys and will become a catnip garden. My sweet boy... I will always miss my soul cat. I got him as a teen, and at almost 40, I am broken without him. I love you forever my sweet Goose.

GARTH 🐾

Garth - Named after Garth from Wayne's World (aka Goose, Goog, Gus, Garthalomew, Garthamus, Bahgo, Chug, Chuggy, Goo Goo, Google, Gunk, Gungo, Gagogo, Go Go....the list goes on. Mostly we just make noises at this point.)

The Mysterious, Miracle cat. He should have been dead years before. Kidneys were shutting down, and he was sent home to die in November 2024. However, he is Orange, and therefore, he made it another 10 months. We did have to give him fluids every 2 days, but he was a brave good boy. Born sometime in the early fall of 2008, he was a gift from an ex boyfriend. I got Garth when I was 19. Literally still a teenager.

This was written when he was still alive and sick:
100% the definition of an Orange Cat. Used to weigh 26lbs and has lost half his weight after going on a strict diet. But he is a generally enormous cat. Though in his age and after illness, he weighs about 10lbs on average now. He is obsessed with his toys. When he was younger he had one stuffed mouse named Mousey Baby he treated like his best buddy. He also has a favorite small fluff mouse named Pinky. His favorite color is pink- he truly gravitates towards it. I think it must look cool and bright to him. He absolutely loves Christmas and opening his presents (and will get jealous if you are opening presents on your birthday and he gets nothing.). You would have know idea he is an older senior, he still has the craziest zoomies, a gorgeous coat and eyes, and talks nonstop. Used to shit under my pillows as a kitten. Can sit on command. Will eat literally anything (especially if it makes him make a sour/yuck face while he eats it). He will befriend literally anyone and anything. He could care less about other animals, and knows that people=food and pets. But he does have an attitude, so petting him is like Russian Roulette at times. He also drools, and has a freakish amount of saliva when he licks you. He has hyperthyroidism and he makes pee crystals. His kidneys need routine flushing. So he's not cheap. But he's orange (and oh so handsome), and that's what I always wanted.

STORM ⚡

Storm - Named after Storm of X-men (aka Pidgeon, Tuna Fish, Tuna, Pocketbook, Pocket, Polly Pocket, Picky, Tooty, Bean, Tootsie, Tuts, Turtle Dove, Popcorn, Peanut, Poptart, Popcicle, (those 4 often said as one long name) Peepee, Peep, Beebee/Baby, Princess)

Born sometime in the Fall of 2013. She is my forever kitten. Found her under a building at work. She screamed nonstop then, and continues to scream. She doesn't meow. She screeches. I do honestly think she fried her vocal cords as a baby because all she did until we caught her, was scream. She is the princess of the house, very shy around people and has never met another animal up close besi...
